About Alisha Witty

Alisha Witty's success as a business analytics executive lies in her demonstrated ability to set strategic direction and launch innovative platforms that provide substantial business value and increase financial transparency. Leveraging a sterling career in business intelligence, data warehousing, and enterprise architecture with Fruit of the Loom, Inc. and MicroStrategy, Inc., Ms. Witty currently serves as the Chief Data Architect and Global Director of Business Intelligence and Enterprise Architecture at Domtar Corporation, where she orchestrates the comprehensive design, development, and deployment of top-flight analytics and business-intelligence strategies that provide robust reporting platforms and drive unilateral growth across all verticals. Prior to her time in the corporate arena, Alisha held positions in engineering and verification analysis at NASA's Johnson Space Center, where she was recognized with multiple awards for excellence during her tenure.

With a history of high-impact leadership experience, Ms. Witty has established herself as a notable thought leader, one with a proven talent for transforming intuitive analytics strategies into forward-thinking solutions that optimize financial operations and spur business development and capacity growth. Recognized as a trusted industry voice, Alisha has been engaged as a speaker and in roundtable panels at MicroStrategy World, the Chief Data Officer Summit, and on MeetTheBoss TV.

Ms. Witty holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Computer Science from Western Kentucky University, and received her Six Sigma Black Belt with Fruit of the Loom, Inc. in 2010—garnering the highest score in the company's history. In 2016, Alisha graduated from Global Executive Leadership Program from the University of Toronto Rotman School of Business. Additionally, Alisha pursued in-depth studies in dimensional modeling and data architecture at Kimball University, where she trained with the father of architectural business-intelligence best practices, Ralph Kimball.

Ms. Witty spends her time away from work contributing to a number of professional and philanthropic organizations, including the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW). In 2012, she was named NAPW Woman of the Year. Additional awards and accolades include the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center Group Achievement Award and the NASA Space Shuttle Cockpit Council Development Team’s Outstanding Contributor Award.
